I offer a professional guitar setup (elektrische gitaar afstellen) & repair service around Zandvoort, Haarlem and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I do basic guitar setups, bass guitar setups as well as more complex work like fixing electronics, replacing pickups and more. Each guitar basically comes for a spa day so it also gets a good cleaning. A standard guitar setup for €75 includes

Fret polishing

Removes oxidation, smooths rough spots, improves bending and overall feel (fret polijsten).

Fretboard Oiling

“Fretboard oliën” hydrates the wood, prevents cracking, restores rich, dark appearance.

Truss Rod Adjustment

Pot Cleaning

We repair all types of guitars, including acoustic guitars, electric guitars, classical guitars, and bass guitars. Whether you have a vintage instrument or a modern model, we can help.

We recommend getting a setup at least once or twice a year, depending on how often you play. Frequent gigging musicians may benefit from more regular setups (every 3-6 months).

Setup times vary depending on the guitar’s condition and the extent of the work required. Most setups are completed within 24 – 48 hours. Complex repairs may take longer, and we’ll always provide an estimate before starting the job. We also keep you up to date on Whatsapp about when your guitar will be ready.

Yes, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure your guitar is serviced in a timely manner. You can book through our website or by contacting us directly on our contact form or you can send us a Whatsapp by clicking the Whatsapp button in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Our standard setup starts from €75 incl. VAT. This includes adjustments to the truss rod, string action, intonation, pickup height, and re-string. If additional work is needed, such as fret levelling or replacing components, we will provide a quote before proceeding.
